神经系统疾病是当下最具有研究价值的领域之一,神经生物学也是生命科学基础研究的前沿学科之一。神经系统疾病主要发生于中枢神经系统和周围神经系统之中,并受多种致病因素影响,其中中枢神经系统髓鞘发育不良或脱髓鞘产生的损伤是脑瘫、缺氧缺血性脑病及多发性硬化症等神经性疾病的主要致病因素。这个损伤过程涉及了神经细胞发育与再生和细胞应激等生物学机制。
我们实验室的主要研究兴趣是理解中枢神经系统中发育与再生的调控机制,关注神经发育和再生过程中细胞可塑性的改变,发现并理解在这些过程中的关键调节基因及作用机制。我们通过构建神经损伤和疾病小鼠模型和体外分子细胞实验(涉及脑立体定位注射、免疫荧光、电镜、原代细胞培养等技术方法),采用体内外双管齐下的手段,研究神经系统中发育与再生的调控机制,揭示重大神经系统疾病的发病机理并试图提供诊治策略。至今已在Neuron、Journal of Clinical Investigation 、Nature Communications、 Molecular Cell、Journal of Cell Biology、 Journal of Virology、 Nature Microbiology等重要期刊上发表学术文章,并被Faculty1000,科技日报等专业或大众媒体推荐及评价。
