许华曦教授、澳门大阳城集团神经科学研究所荣誉所长,Molecular Neurodegeneration 杂志(IF 9.599)创办人/(共同)主编,国家特聘专家,国家(海外)杰出青年科学基金获得者。长期从事阿尔茨海默病相关的神经分子及细胞生物学、神经信号转导、神经突触毒性、神经免疫功能等方向/领域的研究并取得了多项原创性的成果,为国际阿尔兹海默病研究的权威专家之一。其研究包括阿尔茨海默病及相关脑疾病发生的分子/细胞生物学机制(尤其是关于神经毒性蛋白质产生、异常修饰及堆积以及清除的机理及调控),鉴定一系列可能用于疾病治疗的新基因蛋白靶点,同时阐述胶质细胞介导的神经免疫以及相关的分子靶点在阿尔茨海默病中的作用机理,为开发诊疗手段提供新的思路。他在国际学术杂志(SCI)发表论文约170篇,总影响因子1250多,被引用20,000余次,H指数69,i10 指数144。担任独立PI二十三年多共主持过数千多万美元的科研经费;其先后培养了一百多名博士研究生、博士后或其他研究人员,其中多人已在国际知名大学/研究机构担任正教授、副/助教授或是在各医药或生物技术公司任职;培养了多名国家杰青、优青等人才。荣获包括美国老年痴呆症协会的首届Courage and Hope奖和Zenith Fellow(协会顶尖会员)奖、Ellison医学基金会杰出青年学者奖、Ruth Salta青年成就奖等奖项。长期担任国际分子神经退行性疾病大会主席(ICMN,每2年一届),并多次受邀担任其他国际学术会议大会主席或国际知名研究机构做学术报告(140余次)。先后为世界多个基金委员会评审科研基金和人才项目及为几十家科学杂志审稿和撰写综述文章。
